Rebuilding and Resistance: Jaloliddin did not give up his fight for power and spent several years attempting to rebuild his forces and resist Mongol domination. He gathered support in regions such as Persia and tried to raise an army to challenge Genghis Khan’s successors. However, his efforts were largely unsuccessful in halting Mongol expansion.

Death: Jaloliddin Khwarazm’s final attempt to resist Mongol forces was in 1231, when he was defeated and killed in battle against the Mongols. His death marked the end of any hope for the restoration of the Khwarazmian Empire.
